Last week Crated launched to the world with a gallery event at the SohoArthouse in New York City. The event was a big success with art from over 500 Crated artists on digital displays and sample prints from DevNGosha and Karim Rashid up on the gallery walls. We provided live walk-throughs of Crated on tablets, allowing visitors to experience the site while viewing art in the gallery.
We had a lot of great conversations in the gallery with both artists and art lovers that really inspired us, proving Crated’s huge potential in the affordable art marketplace. During the two days the gallery was open we had hundreds of people stop-by and met so many talented local artists who were either already users or interested in joining Crated.
We look forward to hosting future pop-up galleries in cities across the world! Thanks to all the amazing artists whose work was displayed, everyone who shared it online, and all the guests who attended the gallery and reception. You can see all the work that was featured in our New York show here, or check out shots from our time in New York City on our Instagram page.
