Thank you for visiting my gallery!
Since my grandmother first put a camera in my hands at the age of six I have been in love with photography. Having also inherited my grandmother's love of travel, both my camera and I are slowly making our way from coast to coast here in the United States and around the globe.
The highlight of my early photo career was having three of my photos shown in Manhattan back in 1989 in a student show at the International Center of Photography. At the time, I was working as a New York City trial lawyer and taking classes at ICP, so I was incredibly thrilled to have my work shown in the same building where I had first fallen in love the amazing photographs of my idol Henri Cartier-Bresson. I started shooting professionally in 2006 and since then my work has been shown at The Museum of the City of New York and in various juried and themed shows at The Arts Exchange and the Shenkman and Peckham Gallery in White Plains, NY as well as in local art shows in New York and New Jersey.
My photos have also appeared in dozens of magazines and newspapers from Manhattan to Moscow, including Smithsonian, Coastal Living, The (New York) Daily News, The (London) Daily Mail and The Telegraph, in various books including travel guides by Fodors and a fine art book published by Maine Media, and on websites such as travelandleisure.com and budgettravel.com. My photos can also regularly be seen in various calendars and are hanging in the collections of both private and institutional art collectors.
I feel incredibly lucky to be able to do what I love for a living and to share my work on a global scale. I am a freelance writer as well as a professional assignment photographer in Westchester County, NY so my work encompasses photojournalism, lifestyle, architectural, food, product, and nature photography, and corporate and individual portraits as well as travel and fine art photography.
I am a member of the American Society of Media Professionals, a former Board Member of the Westchester Professional Photographer’s Association and a member of Red Circle Photo Arts.
I hope you enjoy my gallery and find art to hang on the walls of your home or office that will bring you joy for years to come.
